DipJar has shut down, but your in-person fundraising doesn't have to. Kind Kiosk picks up where it left off, with more hardware, more ways to pay, and flexibility DipJar never had.
DipJar made one-tap giving simple. Kind Kiosk keeps that simplicity and adds the flexibility modern fundraising needs.
No longer operating DipJar pioneered the one-tap donation device: a small jar for a single, fixed amount over a card swipe. It has since shut down, leaving customers to find a new home for in-person giving.
Kind Kiosk is a complete giving kiosk: three hardware form factors, every modern payment method, and custom workflows that go beyond donations, built for how nonprofits fundraise in person.
How we compare: DipJar ceased operations; details reflect its product as it last operated, alongside Kind Kiosk's current offering. Figures change, so tell us if anything's out of date and we'll fix it.
DipJar took a fixed tap and stopped there. Kind Kiosk shapes the whole giving flow and runs custom workflows a single-amount device never could, all on one branded screen.
Set your amounts, funds, custom questions, and branding, so the screen matches how your organization fundraises, not a single fixed tap.
Run custom workflows on the same device: memberships, guestbooks, surveys, volunteer sign-ins, and more.
Everything your donors see lives on one branded touchscreen, purpose-built for in-person giving rather than a countertop jar with one preset amount.
Most organizations coming from DipJar are live within three weeks. We do the heavy lifting, so setup is quick and you can focus on fundraising.
Tell us about your organization and how you used DipJar, and we'll recommend the right kiosk and plan.
Your kiosk arrives almost ready to go. A quick setup gets it online, then you customize your amounts, funds, and branding in the Dashboard.
Set it in your lobby or at your event and start taking gifts, with more payment options than your donors had before.
“Working with Chris and the Kind Kiosk team has been an outstanding experience from day one. The Kind Kiosk platform has given us the flexibility and tools to do more than we were able to with DipJar.”
“With less than a week before a major donor engagement event, we learned that DipJar would no longer be available to us. Kind Kiosk was able to equip us with 2 kiosks and it turned out to be a blessing in disguise… we more than doubled our efforts from the previous year at this event!”
DipJar devices aren't compatible with Kind Kiosk, so they can't be reused. We ship you a pre-configured kiosk that's quick to set up, and we're happy to advise on recycling your old device.
Most organizations coming from DipJar are up and running within three weeks. After a short intro call we recommend the right model and plan, pre-configure everything, and ship it ready for a quick setup.
Yes, in a good way. Donors can pay with a card, Apple Pay, Google Pay or a QR code, choose from amounts you set, cover the processing fee, and opt into your mailing list, all in a few taps.
Yes. Beyond donations, Kind Kiosk runs custom workflows on the same device: memberships, guestbooks, surveys, volunteer sign-ins, and more. You also shape the giving flow itself, your amounts, funds, questions, and branding. DipJar could take a single fixed tap; Kind Kiosk does the whole job.
Hardware is a one-time cost from $299 to $599 depending on the model. Subscriptions start at $54 a month, or $49 a month billed annually. Payments carry a flat 3% platform fee plus standard processor fees (2.7% on cards, 2.9% on DAF gifts), and donors can choose to cover them so 100% reaches you.
Yes! Event kiosks arrive pre-configured and quick to set up. If you run a gala, conference or seasonal campaign, you can rent kiosks by the day or week rather than buying, with extensions available.
A 20-minute intro call, no pressure. We'll help you pick the right kiosk and plan for your organization.
